We are very fortunate to live in an beautiful area where there are a huge amount of things to do and explore. We have compiled a guide of local eateries, sights and also walks in the vicinity of Hinoki which you can find here.

We have many pubs/restaurants in our area, we would suggest booking ahead of your visit to avoid disappointment.

Byland Abbey Ruins - Once one of the greatest monasteries in England.

An outstanding example early gothic architecture, it inspired the design of the famous York Minster rose window. Please visit English Heritage for more information prior to your visit. 

Castle Howard - is a stunning House & Estate owned by the Howard family. The house and grounds are beautiful and has been the setting for many period dramas. It is well worth spending a day there - for more information visit their website
